CDD Origami Pirate Boat Card

Ahoy there! I'm here to share my new origami pirate boat shaped card. I've had lots of fun with these amazing new release digital stamps from Craftin Desert Diva's . I love that there are lots of sentiments and added elements to go with the sets. I've used - Ahoy Matey  (Steering Wheel and Anchor) - Shiver Me Timbers (All - Boy pirate in barrel and pirate flag) - Treasure Hunt (All - Girl pirate, treasure and map) (Above three links include my affiliate link.) The crab, shells, starfish and seagull are also Craftin Desert Diva's digital stamps . I've coloured the images in watercolour pencils apart from the base of the pirates skin that's Touch Five Markers. I fussy cut everything out. Created this origami boat. Then covered, scored and used Distress Ink on the bottom of the boat to create a wood effect look. After that came the fun bit of arranging all the wonderful images. SBS Fireworks Beauty Card

Hello. I'm back again to share my final Progressive Challenge card of the month. On this card I've used the July's Simply B Stamps Facebook Group Progressive Challenge image. She is called Firework's Beauty . If you'd like to find more gorgeous Simply B Digital Stamps please click the link. I coloured her using Touch Five Markers and pencils. The background paper is from a Bella Road pattern paper from the Splash 6x6 paper pad. I added die cut stars in pink card stock. Then I finished of with a handmade ribbon bow and layered up flowers with button in the middle of them. The sentiment came with the beautiful image. Outlaws July Challenge Anne Fentons Dog Digi

Hi. I'm here with my shaped card. I've made this card for the  Outlaws July Monthly Progressive Challenge . This month's beautiful image called Dog is by Anne Fenton . Here is a link to her Blog . I've coloured this image using coloured ball point biro pens. I find it's the of the best ways for me to create life like fur on animals. I created a blue splat paint background using watered down Acrylic Paint. The shape of the card and matching frame is from a die set (I don't know who the set belongs to because I inherited it.) The sentiment is from two Clearly Besotted Stamp  set called Take Flight (Happy Birthday) and Furry Friends(go ahead and treat yourself.) The flower is a M&C Boutique die cut sold at  The Works . And the foliage is a die cut. SD Genie and Palm Tree Card

Hi. Here is a card I've made using a  Scrappers Delight  digital stamp. I've created it for the  Scrappers Delight Facebook Progressive  Challenge. The digital stamp of the month is the trees they are called Jungle Palms . I thought the Genie image would be a good match. I decided to make a Clean and Simple card to maximise the size of these beautiful image. I've coloured them using Touch 5 Markers, pencils and coloured ball point pens. I then stuck the image on a pattern background paper. I created the sentiment on the computer. GSD Thank You Strawberry Mouse

Hi. I'd like to share today a card I've made using this month's adorable Gerda Steiners Designs Progressive Challenge image called Strawberry Mouse . Isn't it so sweet!! This image is July's GSD Progressive Challenge . Please click the link to find the challenge and details of how to join in. I decided I'd like to used the  Sketch N Scrap card layout challenge again for this image. I've used this  Sketch N Scrap - Card Sketch Layout - #101 . I've coloured using watercolour pencils to colour the image. Then I fussy cut it out. The bottom bit sentiment (berry much) and the small flowers have been stamped with  Clearly Besotted Stamp  set called Simply Scrumptious. The rest of the background has been embossed and coloured with Distress Ink. Golfer Golfing Birthday Card

Hi there. I'd like to share a card I've made for my partners birthday using a Polkadoodles digital stamp called Golfer Golfing . I've coloured him using Watercolour Pencils. The design of this card is a Sketch Layout from Sketch Saturday Blog - Sketch #472 .  This is the Sketch Layout. I embossed blue and yellow card. Then I coloured the yellow embossing with green Distress Ink. The sentiment is from two From The Heart Stamp digital stamps set's called Slot Machine Birdbrain (Happy birthday!) and PigWit Tee It Up (Hope your day is Tee-rific!) I used string and made a string bow to finnish this card. CDD Hockey Boy Birthday Wishes

CAAB July Inspiration Card

Hi. I'm here to share my inspiration post for this month using this lovely Cute As A Button image called You Fishers Of Men . This image is actually a wonderful set of two images, a sentiment and a few props. However for this particular project I chose to just use the man boy image. You can find more wonderful images at the  Cute As A Button Store . I've coloured her with Touch Five Markers and Pencils. I have coloured the background with blue water colour pencil. I made a frame for the image which I wove string all the way around it and added to foam tape. LS Sailor Girls Origami Boat Card

Hello!! It's a lovely day today and I'm back to share my latest card. I really hope that this unusual shaped card will inspire you to give it a try. I've made this one for the new challenge at  Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog .  Challenge #46 this is a Anything Goes Challenge. It would be lovely if you could join in. With this challenge you have the chance to win some Lemon Shortbread Digital Stamps. I've made my card using the gorgeous Sailor Dress Sunflower Girl  digital stamp. You can find lots of beautiful images over at the  Lemon Shortbread Store . I've never come across a card of this design before so I'll explain it, it's a origami boat shaped card. I used a two fold origami design on card and decided it would make the perfect base for this pretty image. I've coloured using her Touch Five Markers and watercolour Pencils. SG Shy On Holiday Card

Hello!! I'm here to share my latest card using this Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamp . This adorable image is one of the July 15th new release digital stamp called Shy On Holiday . I've coloured Shy On Holiday with a mixture of both Touch Five Markers and water colour pencils. I've framed the image with orange paper. The background paper is from a Bella Road pattern paper from the Splash 6x6 paper pad. on the edges to show of the layers more. I wrapped string around the patterned paper going 3 times both ways. Added a Brother Scan N Cut Anchor (which I added a string bow to) and Steering wheel SVG cutting file. The sentiment is I think a digital stamp created by  Tracy Wray  from  Crafty Cats 957 Designs Digital  Stamps . I finished of with a pearl in each corner. DDS DIY Pup Birthday Card

Hi. I've made this boys card using an adorable Di Digi's Stamps called DIY Pup . Isn't he just the cutest pup ever!! I love him.  I've coloured this adorable image with particular marking using Touch Five Markers and I've shaded with watercolour pencils which I fussy cut out. I created the background using green paper which I've stamped with a stamp set by Clearly Besotted Stamp set called Furry Friends small paw stamp. The strip of pattern card is stenciled with acrylic paint. The text box and wording in it are Peachy Keen Stamps . The sentiment is a Sweet Dixie Die. Dearie Dolls Digi Hockey and Kid Car cards

Hello. I'm stopping by with a teenager boys birthday card used using a wonderful free Dearie Dolls Digital Stamp called Hockey Boy . I did the image quite big to make him the focus of the card. He has been coloured using Touch Five Markers and Pencils. Then I embossed the background. I then added number dies and Sweet Dixie Sentiment dies. I'd also like to share a card my daughter made also using a adorable Dearie Dolls image called Kid Car Varoom . She made this card when she was six for her little brothers birthday... She even added his age to the car (her idea not mine.) The image is foam padded up and attached to a split pin. This design is so the image is able to spin. I helped her by doing the cutting and helping to put it together after she asked to make this style of interactive card. Her brother loved it. I hope that you like our cards! CDD Interactive Surfing Boy Card

Hi. I've had so much fun creating this interactive slide tab card for my Craftin Desert Diva's  card. I can't wait to show you and to share with you how I've made it! For this card I've mixed a few different Craftin Desert Diva's  digital stamp sets to make this fun summer scene card. I've used :- Beach Scene digital stamp Surfing Boy digital stamp - all images used Beach Crab digital stamp set - the crab and starfishs Summer Days digital stamp set - the sun and the bucket and shovel Surf Boy digital stamp set - the shells Soak Up The Sun digital stamp - the sentiment I coloured using Touch Five Markers, pencils and Distress Inks. I've fussy cut most of them out and added them to the background beach scene. I stuck the surfing boy to acetate, made a cut along the boarder to push the tab through and used beach elements stuck on foam tape to create the direction I wanted the acetate slider tab to go. LS Flower Power Twisted Easel Card

Hi there. I've had a busy few days with my card making posts. And I'm back today to share a twisted easel card I've made for the new challenge at  Lemon Shortbread Challenge Blog .  Challenge #45  is a Anything Goes Challenge. We'd love it if you join in. I'm so excited to be posting up my very first Craftin Desert Diva's Design Team card.  For my very first creation I've used a few different digital stamp sets together to create this summer scene on this side stepper card. SG Princess and Dragoon Castle Shaped Card

Hello!! I'd like to share this super cute very girly pink Princess and Dragon castle shaped card. I really did enjoy making this one of a kind card. The images I've used are Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps called Princess and Dragoon . Princess is one of the July the first new release images . I've coloured these gorgeous images using a mixture of Touch Five Markers and pencils. As I was colouring I though the Princess needed a dragon and a castle but I didn't have a castle. So I decided to make my own using basic shapes in the Brother Scan N Cut machine. And so I made this three layered castle SVG file including the door and window. I coloured the castle with watered down Acrylic Paint and pencil on the edges to show of the layers more. Then I embossed the top half of the layers. Once I'd stuck them together I added flower Clearly Besotted Stamp die cut. The flowers are coordinating die cuts for the Flower Arrangement Stamp set (which I didn't use.
